Our client is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse to join / work across it's Melbourne sites. Role responsibilities:
Provide professional, medically confidential occupational case management services to employees seeking benefits under the company sickness absence policy. Provide occupational case management and return-to-work program services for the company in keeping with the requirements of the Worker Compensation legislation and company injury management policy. Perform ergonomic workstation assessments and provide advice on ergonomic issues to employees. Participate in special health related projects as assigned, including the delivery of health promotion programs. From time to time, provide OHS Training on topics such as manual handling and ergonomics. Support first aid services when required. Report and collate health related data on a quarterly basis. Adhere to company and legal medical confidentiality requirements at all times. Work cooperatively in a multi-skilled OHS team and participate in various company projects and programs supporting a healthy workplace . Essential : State Registered Nurse Post graduate experience in Occupational Health Basic computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and data input Experience in training and presenting Drivers licence Ability to work as part of team Good communication skills Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health (General or Nursing) Experience of working in a large organisation
